Wellbeing
At Waverley Junior Academy, wellbeing is considered within all areas of the curriculum and is visible within the learning environment, enabling pupils to feel confident, express emotions, build good relationships, live productively, cope with changes and develop resilience.
Specific assemblies address aspects of pupil wellbeing. We monitor all aspects of well-being and will respond to individual and environmental challenges.
Our student council provides a forum for discussion and support for pupil wellbeing and reflection on the SEMH Policy. Parent wellbeing is supported holistically by our school ethos and inclusion team.
