Welcome from the Principal

I am delighted to welcome you to the Waverley website. Waverley Junior Academy will be an exciting development at the heart of the Waverley community. I am thrilled to be Principal and to lead an outstanding, dedicated team of staff who will make a real difference to the lives of our young people.  My vision is for all of Waverley’s pupils to feel happy, secure and confident, knowing that we will support them when they encounter difficulties and that their efforts and achievements will be affirmed and celebrated. 

We will support and guide Waverley’s young people, providing outstanding learning and enrichment opportunities for them along the way. We want all our young people to develop as enthusiastic and successful learners. We will encourage them to have respect for and pride in themselves, others, their academy and their community.  As Principal for Waverley Junior Academy, I look forward to working closely with you during the next year and to welcoming your children into our wonderful new academy in September 2020.
